Surrealism - cracking effect.

I really liked working with this effect, I found it a little hard at the begining to get the hang of but i'm happy I stuck with it and followed through as I really happy with the final outcome. The cracking paint gives the images a nice texture to look at and I think goes well with the models emotions. I had the image is both black and white and I prefer the look of the image like this. I think it makes the cracks look a little more realistic as well.

I know now that for my final image I would like to adapt this effect further and included it in to my final piece, I reckon with skill's I havelearnt over the past couple weeks my final image will have that dark surreal look to it.
