Today we got a chance to look at a K1000 which is a film camera. We had a look at how it works and how to put the film in to the camera with out damaging the camera or film.

We took down some notes about aperture and how to work the F stop which means by having a smaller number means a larger F stop.

After that we got the chance to go out in small groups and take 9 snaps each. We walked around the barbican and were able to get some different shots which will be developed in a couple of weeks time.

Using the film camera was pretty easy but i had to keep remembering to get the camera in focus before pulling back the trigger and pressing down the button.

Once we get the films developed it will be interesting to see if the images turn out well or not and be able to identify what went right and why and what went wrong and why. After we'd taken the images and had to take the film out of the camera we had to be careful not to let any light hit the film else the images will turn out streaky.
