Laura Lavine comparison.

Laura Lavine was a band photograpgher back in the 1980's. Her work was basic and focused on the model more than the surroundings and the fame. On the left is a image taken by Laura Lavine of Boy George and on the right is an image I took and editted to look similar to Laura Lavine's work.

After taking my image I went on to photoshop and turned it black and white, placed a polaroid transfer for the border on the top and rubbed through on the main image so that i could give it a grainy effect like Laura Lavine. I used a simlar border but with just a bit of a twist.

Im pretty happy with the out come of my image, if I was goiong to do this again I would of made the capacity of the polaroid transfer a little less so its not so harsh in the image. The image doesn't look black and white in my image, the edit in the image makes it look like its been made to look like an old photograph.
