So both the two courses I am looking at for after this course look so good and i'm really struggling on which one I would like to chose.

Both courses have their pro's and con's, Interior decoration, design and style is based in Plymouth which isn't far from where I live and hair and media make-up is based up in bath which would mean I would have to move up there.

I don't actually mind the idea of moving up to bath as it would give me the chance to spread my wings and stand on my own to feet and as the hair and media make-up course is only a year if I didn't like it I wouldn't be stuck there too long. If I stay and carry on at the art college i'll still be living at home which does have a lot of benefits as I wont be paying out for certain things but at the same time it's a 3 year course which means ill be nearly 22 when I finish the course and don't plan to still be living at home by then.

Entry requirements for both courses are achievable. I already have the requirements to get on to the hair and media make-up course and as long I achieve at least a merit on this course (photography ed) I'll have enough ucas points to get in to Interior design. So i'm not overly worried about not being able to do either course.

What really draws my attention in with Interior decoration, design and style is the whole creative side of it. I've always been quite artistic when it comes to drawing and I do really enjoy designing things. I'm always moving around room's at home changing the style of things. By doing this course it does open me up to a wide range of job opportunities designing a variety of things like room's in the home, cafes, offices etc. It's also a great social job, and means I'd be able to join a company or go self employed with it. I also think it's something a little different from the average job that people have. Only down fall I would say with going down this carer path is that there isn't many skill's I can take out from interior design apart from maybe learning how to deal with clients professionally.

At the same time, The hair and media make-up course is something that even if I didn't go on to do hair and make up behind theater and television I could always go in to just doing hair and make-up in a salon or be self employed. It's also a skill I would have that if I did go on to have a different job I would be able to do the hair and make-up on the side for extra money. The beauty world is very wide and people are always needed which to me means it's a good thing to get in to so I know I will always have a job or a skill that is desired in different areas. It's also a very good social job

where you are always

meeting different people which I really enjoy. I'm a very sociable person and enjoy meeting new people. Also getting in to this line of work opens you up to traveling to new places, experiencing things behind the scenes and wide events like fashion shows.

So at the moment, i'm 50/50 on what course I want to do, I'm going to be applying to both so that the opportunity in there and nearer the time hopefully I'll know what direction I want to go in with my future.
