Surrealism - Kyle Thompson

Kyle Thompson has been a personal favorite when it comes to looking at surreal photography. Not only does his style draw me in, I also like the fact that each imagehe tell's a part of a story. Thompson's work shows one part of a big story, there is never a beginning nor is there ever an ending. His images don't contain a lot of bright colours which mean's there is a certain gloomy effect to most of his images. I like that he creates a surreal world around him showing off different concepts even when the concept isn't clear.

All of Thompson's photo use photoshop and manipulation. I like that all of his images are self portraites and that he plays a different charter in all of them. By doing this he is known for more than just portiates and surreal images. The images hta grabs my attention out o fthe two is the one on the left, even now I can't seem to work out how he was able too digitality manipulate the image lifting up the tree. Kyle Thompson has deffantily inspired me to try something in his style of work.
