As a whole group we caught the small ferri over to mount edgecomb to do a beach a clean. We got in to pairs and had a blacked bag and gloves between us and picked up as much as we could. Anything we saw that we thought would be good to photograph in the studio went in to a seperate bag to be taken back to college to be used for our 3D shoot with the macro lense.

I was shocked by how much rubbish there was, we found things we never thought we would on the beach like needles. A lot of the rubbish was plastic waste which we collected as much as possible as thats what gets mistaken as food by the fish which thens means seagulls who eat the fish end up dieing as well because their stomachs end up filling up with plastic.

I also enjoyed doing the beach clean because I liked doing something that was helping the enviroment and being active in what i was doing.

This image here was taken before we started doing the beach clean, Already you can see bits of rubbish lying on the ground that don't look like it's been washed up but just chucked on to the beach because of lazyness.

I do like the image I took, the shading and tones make it look dull which goes well with the rubbish being on the beach.
